red-light-green: Of the numerous red light districts in Bangkok, Thailand, Patpong is one of the most famous. Although the area was developed for normal business purposes in the late 40s and 50s, during the Vietnam War bars sprung up and as more and more soldiers enjoyed their R&R in the area, the wild nightlife gave way to a booming sex industry.
